Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata - Níjar

San Miguel de Cabo de Gata

The cape enters the waters like the profile of a dead person or a sleeper with his hair flooded in the sea. Color is not color; it's just light. And the light happened to the light in sheets of faint transparency. The cape descends towards the waters, drawn in profile by the hand of a god who here will find completion, the perfection of sacrifice, the thinness of the line that engenders a horizon or the endless desire of the far away. The god and the sea. And beyond, the gods and the seas. Forever. As the waters kiss the sands and only move away to return, I return to your waist, to your lips wet by time, in the light of your skin that the low afternoon wind turns on. Territory, your body. The sharp descent of the stone towards the sea, the cape towards the waters. And the emptiness of everything created enveloping, maternal, like an immense abode. "
