The beaches of San José, El Sorallete, La Cruz and La Calilla, make up the Playa del Pueblo de San José, extending through its bay making pleasant and beautiful bends in which to shelter from the wind or the sun at sunset. A familiar and urban beach with good sand, which is hardly ever crowded, only in the "rush hours" of August and Sundays in summer. It has shower, lifeguard and cleaning services in high season. Without being the best beach in the park, it is pleasant and close, in addition to the convenience of having all the services of San José at hand. The corners between El Sollarete and La Cruz with its fossil dune, and the stone "falls" between La Cruz and La Calilla are especially beautiful. Next to the port there is a bend of calm waters ideal for children.
